#1423 Asteroid City

Wes Anderson is one of the most recognizable filmmakers active today - most of the time, you do not even need motion to assess that it's one of his films, and "Asteroid City" is no exception. Filled with stars to the brim, this film tells the story of chance meetings in the titular small town, narrated through the backdrop of 1950's paranoia, and filtered though several layers meta context, of course. So nachdem ich das gestern nachgeholt habe, weiss ich, dass ich eine schöne Sneak verpasst habe, aber zum Glück nicht den Film

Wer Wes Andersons Stil mag, muss diesen Film einfach lieben. Wie immer genial besetzt, wunderbar bebildert, diesmal in schönem 50er Jahre Überbunt und auch die Erzählstruktur wurde genial dekonstruiert, die Exposition, der Einsatz des Erzählers inklusive Fehler, ich kann gar nicht aufhören zu schwärmen.
