"Bullet Proof" is most probably a labor of love, at least for actor, director, co-writer and co-producer James Clayton. The bit player in numerous TV shows and movies got together with buddies Cooper Bobaud and Danny Mac (who also played roles in this film) an developed the story of a nameless thief who has the suicidal idea to steal from the local drug lord, and got even more than he bargained for, along while a whole bunch of fresh problems, and even got Vinnie Jones to play a part of drug lord Temple. The result was a whole lot of action and banter, as can be seen in the trailer:
And how did you like this film, which did not bother to hide the many, many predecessors from which he borrowed plot points? How did you like the actors, most notably of course James Clayton as "The Thief", Vinnie Jones as Temple and Colombian-born Lina Lecompte as Temple's wife Mia? How did you enjoy the action sequences, and the shootouts. And for those of you who also watched "A Day to Die": was "Bullet Proof" better or worse than that film?
