Those with good eyesight - and a decent memory might have had the feeling that they've seen Noni Hazlehurst - lead actess of "June Again" before. If fact, Ms Hazlehurst has a small but pivotal role in our first sneak film this year, #1322 "Long Story Short", where she explained the ins and outs of the "time-travel" at a cemetery. "June Again" is the first long-form film by writer/director JJ Winlove, who previously specialized in short films both a separate entities and as part of an anthonolgy. Here's the trailer:
And how did you like the film, not the first one in our sneak history which dealt with alzheimer/dementia sort of illnesses - though this film took a more lighthearted route than e.g. #1050 "Still Alice" . How did you enjoy the performances by Miss Hazlehurst as June, but also by Claudia Karvan as daughter Ginny and Stephen Curry as son Dev?
